New Summer Youth STEM Camps Planned

Focus on Specific Engineering Fields
By UW-Sheboygan

UW-Sheboygan has planned new Summer Youth STEM Camps as part of its summer continuing education programming for youth ages 8-14.

The STEM camps will focus on a specific field of engineering and feature hands-on workshops that are designed to give highly motivated students experience with classic, or civil/environmental, mechanical, and biomedical engineering. Each STEM camp will be offered for a separate week during the summer with a full day, or half day (AM or PM) option for students. Advanced camp content will be offered to the 11-14 age group.

The Summer Youth STEM camps will meet Monday through Friday, and will involve hands-on activities that venture into mechanics, biomedics, and the engineering design process. Complete information about the STEM camp -including descriptions, schedules, and workshop options can be found on the UW-Sheboygan Continuing Education website at: or please call 920-459-6617. UW-Sheboygan is located at One University Drive in Sheboygan, with free parking available.
