Co-Ed Soccer Head Coach Position (part-time)
The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan, one of 13 freshman-sophomore liberal arts and pre-professional campuses of the University of Wisconsin System, is seeking applicants for the position of Head Soccer Coach for the Fall 2008 season. Successful candidates will be responsible for administering all aspects of the co-ed competitive soccer team including: organizing daily practices, leadership in weekly games, assisting Athletics Director with student-athlete academic progress, recruiting, scouting, public relations, and fundraising activities. UW-Sheboygan competes within the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference of the Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association.
The successful candidate’s experience should include a minimum of 3 years head coaching experience at the high school varsity level, and/or assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level. Collegiate level head coaching experience is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. This position is an ad-hoc limited term appointment with nominal compensation. The successful candidate must hold an appreciation for and commitment to emphasizing sport as an extension of each student-athlete’s educational learning experience.
