Internship in Information Resources The University Library/UW-Sheboygan Foundation Internship in Information Resources is a new program designed to offer a great, hands-on educational experience to any new freshman student interested in learning some important, in-depth skills in information resources and technology. It is also an opportunity to earn some regular income to help fund the student's tuition and related expenses. This new internship program is funded by a generous grant from the UW-Sheboygan Foundation. Jeff Ellair,
Library Director Jeff has been Library Director at UWS since July 1994. He holds a Master of Information and Library Studies degree from the University of Michigan and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (with a major in music) from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan where he had his initial library work experience in the Mossey Library. Prior to coming to Sheboygan, Jeff was an assistant librarian at Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois.
Amy Mussell,
Academic Librarian Amy joined the UW-Sheboygan Library in July 1999. She is a UW-Madison alumnus, having earned both an MA in Library and Information Studies and a BA in English and History from that institution. Amy has also worked at other academic libraries in Wisconsin, including those at UW-Green Bay, UW-Oshkosh, and Marian College.
Karen McArdle,
Library Services
Assistant-Senior Karen came to Battig Memorial Library in November 2000. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha. Karen previously worked in the library and Instructional Television Department of Lakeshore Technical College, and prior to that she managed the hospital library at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. |
