Circulation & Fine Policies

Circulating Books:

Loan Periods

• Faculty - Semester loan
• Student - 28 days/multiple renewals of 28 days
• Community - 28 days/1 renewal of 28 days

Fine Policy

• $.25 per day up to a maximum of $10.00
• Fines under $1.00 are not assessed
• LOST charges consist of a $60.00 replacement cost + overdue fine.

Journals and Magazines:

Loan Periods

• Faculty - Semester loan
• Student - 7 days/multiple 7 day renewals
• Community - 7 days/7 day renewal

• $.25 per day up to a maximum of $10.00
• Fines under $1.00 are not assessed
• LOST charges consist of a $20.00 replacement cost + overdue fine.

Audio Collection:

• Faculty - Semester loan
• Student - 14 days/no renewal
• Community - 14 days/no renewal

Reserve Collection:

Loan Periods - 2 hour reserve

• Faculty - 2 hours/1 renewal for two hours/no overnight
• Student - 2 hours/1 renewal for two hours/no overnight
• Community - 2 hours/1 renewal for two hours/no overnight

Fine Policy

• $.01 per minute up to a maximum of $10.00
• Fines under $1.00 are not assessed
• LOST charges same as charges for lost books, journals, etc. (see above), dependent on specific item.

Fine Policy for Loan Periods - 1 day, 3 day, or 7 day

• $5.00 per day up to a maximum of $25.00 per item (1 day items)
• $1.00 per day up to a maximum of $10.00 per item (3 day, 7 day)
• LOST charges same as charges for lost books, journals, etc. (see above), dependent on specific item.
