UW-Sheboygansummer programs are designed to meet the needs of highly motivated children and to promote learning in a fun hands-on setting. Check-out our classes and join the fun!
Amazing Robotics Challenge
Join us for this fun but intense robotics program. You will build a mobile robot using interchangeable parts, wirelessly controlled by a personal computer. Flashing lights, moving motors, wheels, levers and arms at your command. Sensors help the robot find its way. Innovation and creativity are required. Styling and originality are rewarded. We will use the popular and easy to master Scratch programming language... plus you'll find out what an Arduino is. You will learn about electronics, physics, computer programming - and maybe even see how what you learn in math class helps you build a robot. During the Thursday session, family is welcome to come and cheer on the robots during the competition. Youth, grades 4th-8th. Check this out – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO6O_e6tq-4
