Chicken & All That Jazz
Chicken & All That Jazz, which debuted in 1986, is the Foundation’s major fundraiser, attracts nearly 1,500 visitors to the campus each August. The day includes live Dixieland jazz music throughout the evening and a HUGE roasted chicken dinner, complete with fresh sweet corn and all the extras.
The 2013 event is set for August 7, 2013, from 4:30-8 p.m.. An ice cream and bake sale will be featured again this year. Beer and soda also will be available throughout the evening, along with a drawing for a variety of prizes.
Tickets are $17 in advance or $19 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Tietz's Northgate Piggly Wiggly, and Piggly Wiggly stores in Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Howards Grove, Cedar Grove, and Oostburg, as well as Woodlake Market in Kohler, Festival Foods in Sheboygan, and the UW-Sheboygan Business Services Office. Reserved tables are also available for groups of 10 to 100! So plan to bring your employees, family and friends. Signage is placed on all reserved tables (which have been used for company picnics, birthday parties, etc.) and tables are placed in a reserved area so guests have easy access to the band and the food tent.
