Travel Experience, Study & Learning
One of the most popular continuing education opportunities offered by the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan has traditionally been our Study Abroad program. Study Abroad opportunities, as well as shorter day trips or those within the United States, are offered through our Center for Engagement Learning.
Each year, we offer at least one major Study Abroad opportunity in a foreign country in either January or March. In the past tours have taken students and area residents to such exotic locales as Switzerland/The Alps, England, Scotland/Wales, France/Paris, Mexico and many more. In relation to these tours, the department also plans several workshops and seminars that are related directly to the upcoming tours and destinations.
We are also committed to offering our students and area residents opportunities to explore beautiful areas located within Wisconsin or within the contiguous United States. In the past, we have offered day trips to Chicago for museums, restaurants and shopping; to the Mandir Hindu Temple in Bartlett, IL; and even Sheboygan County to explore our own local geographical formations and beauty that exists in our own backyards.
