Bookworm Gardens Joint Programs
The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan campus is home to our state-of-the-art university facility, as well as the Sheboygan County UW-Extension Office (located in our Learning Resources/Faculty Building) and the new and exciting Bookworm Gardens, a children's literature garden.
This amazing garden facility, which is coordinated through the private Bookworm Gardens Foundation, offers area children and residents an opportunity to see books and favorite stories come alive in the form of a garden that they can explore, touch and feel.
The UW-Sheboygan Center for Engagement Learning's Continuing Education division will work with Bookworm Gardens to offer a series of joint programs for area residents. Currently, a series of children's classes are conducted in the garden as part of our Summer Youth Program. We expect to see these collaborations grown and flourish in months and years to come.
Please be sure to check our current Course Catalog for the most up-to-date information on any joint programming with Bookworm Gardens. For more information, contact the Center for Engagement Learning at (920) 459-6617.
