eAlert

eAlert is a campus notification system. Students, faculty and staff will receive alerts in the event of a weather-related campus closing or safety emergency.

eAlert will automatically be sent to campus email addresses. Anyone with a cell number in PRISM will also receive a text. To opt out the cell number must be removed in PRISM or changed to “home” or “other”.

The eAlert service is free, but normal short messaging service (SMS) charges from the cellular provider will apply.

For instructions to change or add your cell number in PRISM see below. If you don't have access to PRISM contact the Student Affairs office or call 920-459-6633.

Student eAlert instructions

Log in to PRISM, Click on Self Service --> Student Center --> Demographic Data Phone Receive text eAlert: Click "Add a Phone Number" Use drop down to pick the Phone Type "Cellular" Enter your cell phone number in "Telephone" Click "Save" Opt out of text eAlert: Check list - if there is cell number either: Delete number Click Save

Or...

Use drop down to pick the Phone Type --> change to Home, Main or Other Click "Save"

Faculty and Staff eAlert Instructions
