New Student Advising

New Student Advising & Registration

All UW-Sheboygan new freshmen are required to attend Advising and Registration (A&R). During this group session you will learn about the registration process, register for your classes, learn how to access your student accounts, and have your picture taken for your student I.D.

Advising and Registration sessions last approximately 3 hours; students must plan accordingly to attend the duration of the session in order to register for classes.

We do not accept walk-ins on the day of the A&R. You must have registered prior by returning your New Student Registration Form. This form was mailed to you with your Acceptance Letter.

Advising and Registration dates are listed in the New Student Registration brochure. Your A&R date must be at least ten days after your Placement Test date.

Transfer Student Advising & Registration

If you are a transfer student with more than 12 transfer credits, call the Office of Student Affairs (920)459-6633 to make an appointment with an advisor for individual registration. During your individual registration you will work with an advisor to choose your classes and learn important information regarding your campus e-mail, PRISM, our online learning community (D2L), financial aid deadlines, transfer information and many of our resources available on campus.
