Returning Adult Students

We know that whether you’re thinking of beginning college for the first time or thinking about finishing the degree that you’ve already started, you’re making a big decision. Are you feeling unsure (even nervous) about taking that first step? Perhaps we can help.

We understand adult students at UW-Sheboygan. About 35% of our total enrollment is made up of adults (age 22 or older), one of the highest percentages of all University of Wisconsin institutions. We recognize that your needs differ significantly from those of the traditional-aged student and we will make every effort to meet those needs. UW-Sheboygan’s manageable size, friendly environment, affordable cost, approachable faculty and helpful support services place your goals well within your reach.

Sometimes the hardest part is taking the first step. One important source of help in getting started at UW-S is the Student Affairs Office, where a full-time advisor is dedicated to serving the needs of adult students. Whether you simply need to know where to begin, or whether you have complex questions about transfer and career issues, Pam Fitzer, Coordinator of Services for Adult Students, is here to help you. Contact Pam directly at 920-459-6683 for an appointment.
