UW-Sheboygan Spring Concert set for May 5
All area residents are invited to visit the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan for a the university’s annual spring concert, featuring the UW-Sheboygan Chorus and Jazz Ensemble, on Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the UW-Sheboygan Fine Arts Theatre.
Dr. Dan Vander Linden will direct the UW-Sheboygan Chorus along with accompanist Kathy Pedersen. Paul Sucherman will direct the Jazz Ensemble, with guest artist Jeff Schieble.
The concert will feature performances the entire Chorus, including the world premiere of “Wisconsin Seasons: Eight Haiku” by Perry T. Suszek, featuring Colleen Vander Linden on cello. Other featured pieces will include “From a Distance,” “A Teenager in Love,” “The Longest Time,” and others.
The Jazz Ensemble also will perform a variety of upbeat favorites to delight the audience, including “Mr. Magic,” “Medley-I Got Rhythm,” “The Flintstone's Theme,” and others.

Admission is $3 for adults, and all children 12 and under and all UW-Sheboygan students are free.
To reserve your seats in advance, call the UW-Sheboygan Box Office at (920) 459-6652, stop in the UW-S Business Services Office Monday-Friday during regular business hours, or purchase your tickets the night of the event. The Box Office in the Fine Arts Theatre will open at approximately 6:30 p.m.
