UW-S Foundation to award more than $100,000 to local students
All incoming freshman and continuing students at the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan are reminded to submit their annual application for more than $100,000 in scholarships to be awarded by the UW-Sheboygan Foundation for the 2013-14 academic year. All applications must be submitted to the UW-Sheboygan Student Affairs Office by March 1, 2013.
Scholarships are provided to both new freshman and returning students, and are awarded based on a variety of criteria, including:
• Academic achievement
• Financial need
• Community service
• Intended area of study/major
The UW-Sheboygan Foundation awards more than $100,000 to area students annually through the UW-Sheboygan scholarship selection process. All area students intending to study at UW-Sheboygan are invited to apply.
All students selected for awards will be honored at the annual UW-Sheboygan Honors Convocation ceremony on May 7. Awards will be distributed for tuition and related expenses for the fall 2013 and spring 2014 academic year for students attending UW-Sheboygan.
