UW-Sheboygan campus closed November 26 for furlough day
The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan campus will be closed Friday, November 26, for a state-mandated employee furlough day. All campus buildings and offices will be closed and no functions will be scheduled.
The state-mandated furlough day is one of 16 unpaid furlough days required of all state employees in the 2009-2011 state budget biennium. November 26 was chosen as a mandatory furlough day for the UW Colleges because it occurs right after the Thanksgiving Day holiday when students do not have class and, thus, will have minimal impact on students and the community.
The campus will reopen on Monday, November 29. For more information about UW-Sheboygan, visit www.sheboygan.uwc.edu.
