Area children invited to observe space with UW-Sheboygan

The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan astronomy student organization, the Star Troopers, invite area parents and their children to a special Moon and Stars Observation Session on Wednesday, November 10 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the UW-Sheboygan Brotz Science Building. Note: Telescope viewing is weather permitting.

Children’s activities for children ages 3 to 18 will be available, including coloring sheets for younger children and hands-on astronomy activities for older children. Children will learn about the solar system, the moon and stars. A slide presentation also will share more information about what the children will be seeing through telescopes, including NASA photos of planets.
