Tickets available now for popular Chicken & All That Jazz picnic
Annual fundraiser set for August 10

The beautiful summer season is in full swing, and what better a way to celebrate than an old-fashioned community picnic and BBQ?

The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan Foundation will celebrate the annual scholarship fundraising picnic, “Chicken & All That Jazz,” on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. This year’s event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the beautiful UW-Sheboygan campus grounds.

Tickets are on sale now, and include a hearty BBQ chicken dinner and live Dixieland jazz music, and the opportunity to help support UW-Sheboygan students and campus programs. Beer and soda be sold separately but available all evening.

The event supports UW-Sheboygan students in the form of scholarships, campus programming and new instructional equipment. Each year, the UW-Sheboygan provides more than $100,000 to deserving UW-Sheboygan students in the form of scholarships and help the UW-S campus with instructional and programming needs – all as a result of the generosity of area residents.

Tickets for the event are $15 each in advance or $17 at the door. Tickets are available at the UW-Sheboygan Business Services Office; Piggly Wiggly stores in Sheboygan (northside location only), Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Cedar Grove, Howards Grove and Oostburg, as well as Woodlake Market in Kohler and Van De Kreeke & Associates. Reserved tables for your company picnic are also available and encouraged at an additional cost, with all proceeds supporting scholarships.
