Auditions set for UW-S production of All in the Timing
The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan’s University Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming Fall 2011 production of All in the Timing on Monday, September 26 and Wednesday, September 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theater, located inside the Fine Arts Building on the UW-Sheboygan campus.
Callbacks will be held on Thursday, September 29. Time and location of the callbacks will be announced during auditions.
All in the Timing is a collection of one-act plays by the American playwright David Ives written between 1987 and 1993. It was first published by Dramatists Play Service in 1994, with a collection of six plays; however, the updated collection contains fourteen. The short plays are almost all comedic, frequently employing word play. The UW-Sheboygan production will use several of the 14 plays.
Scripts are available for review in UW-Sheboygan’s University Library. Actors planning to audition are asked to have some familiarity with the play before auditioning. No experience is required to participate or audition.
Technicians are also being sought for lights, sound, construction, costuming and stage management. COM 131 credit is available to UW-Sheboygan students.
