ACT preparation classes offered at UW-Sheboygan
All area high school juniors and seniors planning to take the ACT are encouraged to consider an ACT Prep course with the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan Center for Engagement Learning. Classes are offered in both fall 2012 and in spring 2013.
This six-hour course offers junior and senior students the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to do well on their ACT exam with the help of top-notch professors and instructors.
In this course, students will learn strategies for test taking, strategies involving math problems with algebra, geometry and trigonometry, proper usage of English rhetorical skills and mechanics, analysis and interpretation of scientific research summaries and conflicting hypotheses.
The courses will be offered on October 6, November 17, 2012; January 19, March 23 and May 18, 2013, from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in Room 6001 in the UW-Sheboygan Brotz Science Building. A $69 fee is required for the class.
