Students and staff receive a secure login and e-mail account. Users are able to log in to any UW Colleges computer on any of the 13 campuses if needed using their standard username and password. Please keep this information confidential. Guest users are restricted to computers in the library.

The standard software installed on every computer on campus is the Microsoft Windows 7® operating system. The campus also uses Microsoft Office 2010. Every computer has Internet access through Internet Explorer, but may also have access via Mozilla Firefox® and Google Chrome®. Specialty software installed is course specific and at the request of a Faculty member only. Please make requests for installation of course-specific software at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your course. Students are not allowed to install any software on computers. This is done to protect the integrity of the system for shared use by all students.
